HeartUnions is a week-long campaign by the Trade Union Congress that celebrates trade unions' positive impact and highlights their valuable work.
Every year, the BDA Trade Union proudly participates in Heart Unions Week to celebrate the power of unions and the incredible work we do together. It’s a time to raise awareness, show our strength, and get more people involved!
Want to get involved? Get in touch and explore what we've done over the years.
You will find materials on the TUC website to help raise awareness of the campaign. Download your materials to join in with this fantasic campaign.
This year we're excited to focus on empowering our student members to consider the value of trade unions early in their careers. We believe that by introducing students to the benefits of union membership before they enter the workforce, we can help them understand the vital role unions play in supporting workers’ rights and wellbeing.
Throughout the week, we’ll be sharing valuable content across our social media channels, including a special video featuring one of our trade union reps. You will find our social posts by searching #HeartUnions. Whether students are just learning about unions, ready to join, or looking to rejoin, the earlier they think about the support and protection unions offer, the better.
We’re here to help guide and support them from the very start of their professional journey, and we’re proud to be there every step of the way.
Being part of the BDA Trade Union offers countless benefits from day one of your working life. These include:
