Patrick Bray

Patrick is a performance nutritionist and a Graduate SENr registrant who has worked with a wide variety of athletes, some of who compete internationally. Previously, he's supported individual athletes competing in ultra-endurance events such as the Marathon des Sables, as well as providing support for team sports such as rugby, hockey and football.
Alongside private practice Patrick is involved in sailing, coaching for the RYA British Keelboat Academy with an extensive coaching background in water sports. This coaching is coupled with competing internationally himself as a sailor on the World Match Race Tour as part of a British team.
Primarily Patrick works as a Research Assistant as part of the Occupational Performance Research Group at the University of Chichester. Having completed his MSc. in Applied Sport and Exercise Nutrition as well as a BSc. (Hons) in Sport and Exercise Science (Performance Sailing) there.
Fundamentally Patrick has a real interest in coaching and developing individual performance, alongside supporting the development of team performance. All of which is informed by research.
