James Fleming
James Fleming began teaching/lecturing since graduating from The University of Southampton in Sport Science in 2008. James’ passion lies in sports performance and nutrition. Upon attaining an MSc in Applied Sports Nutrition at St Marys University, he began lecturing on the Nutrition and Health and Exercise Science Programmes. Currently a Senior Lecturer and Course Lead (MSc Applied Sports Nutrition programme), James teaches on a range of nutrition modules at undergraduate and postgraduate level. In 2022 James completed his PhD investigating nutrition and the junior tennis player (Thesis title: Fuelling the elite and highly trained young tennis player').
James is also a Level 3 Anthropometrist (ISAK) and a registered Performance Nutritionist with the Sport and Exercise Nutrition Register (SENr; Practitioner Registration).
