I am a Sport Nutritionist and Exercise Physiologist based at Liverpool John Moores University. For the past 14 years I have been undertaking research in weight-making on physical & mental health, and performance in GB-based jockeys, resulting in 16 peer-reviewed publications to date. In addition, I have presented at over 35 conferences globally on jockey health and well-being, and provide 'best' nutritional guidelines for jockey's representative organisations in GB, Australia and Hong Kong. Additionally, I am the Performance Nutritionist to the British Equestrian Federation and their P1, 2, and 3, rider's programmes, including for the Olympic riding team for Paris 2024. Amongst other sports, I am currently also sport nutritionist in professional boxing and have previously worked in professional football at Tranmere Rovers, Wigan Athletic and Shrewsbury Town.
