Caroline Skelly
I have recently achieved a distinction at master’s level in Sports Nutrition at Manchester Metropolitan University, during this time and at undergraduate level I have developed an understanding of sports science and sports medicine disciplines and their practical application. I have developed the skills to appraise scientific research to apply this to real world situations achieving excellent results in all assessments.
I have built excellent relationships with senior university researchers and have been involved in several research projects. My skills in building and maintaining relationships has also developed in recent work experience delivering nutritional presentation, kitchen practical and workshops to 100+ Swim England athletes. I am currently responsible for the performance nutrition education for the U17’s and U18’s Sale Sharks academy players, as well as group and individual implementing weight loss, maintenance and gain strategies for sporting performance in Manchester Metropolitan University elite scholarship students. This has provided me with invaluable experience in multidiscipline sports.
My level of education and work experience has developed an understanding of the complexities and diversities in elite sporting environments.
