Cara is a Clinical and Sports Dietitian, with over 10 years experience of working in the field. She has an MSc in Sport and Exercise Nutrition and is a practitioner on the Sport and Exercise Nutrition Register (SENr). Her passion for sports nutrition was driven by her own training and competition in athletics and she has a particular interest in fuelling endurance and ultra-endurance performance. Cara is currently working as the sports nutritionist in the British Athletics Talent Hub based at Leeds Beckett University along with consultancy work with the British Athletes Paralympic Futures programme and freelance work with athletes from a variety of sports across the UK. In addition to this, Cara has a part time clinical dietitian role in the NHS in Leeds.
