The BDA is developing new guidance for the dietetic support workforce. It will outline the broad range of clinical roles and responsibilities expected at each level of practice for the support workforce. It is hoped that this will ensure a consistent approach across the UK, assist local workforce planning, career progression and underpin safe and effective practice.
To help us in the creation of this new document, we are seeking input from members of the dietetic support workforce. We want to know what typical clinical tasks you do regularly and determine the level of involvement you have. We also want to explore if there are other dietetic tasks or activities that you feel you could be performing if given support and training to do so.
Please note, this survey is for members of the dietetic support workforce only, this includes individuals that work across multiple therapies including dietetics.
