BDA members in Northern Ireland vote to accept pay offer
Following a consultation ballot of BDA members working in Health and Social Care Northern Ireland, we are able to confirm that the pay offer has been accepted with a 95% YES vote on a turnout of over 65%.
This pay offer came about only after BDA members and workers from across the public sector in Northern Ireland went out on strike in protest at the lack of progress on public sector pay in Northern Ireland in January. Industrial action is never taken lightly but without it we believe we would not have received this offer.
Our thanks to all those involved in this process with particular thanks to members, representatives, and the Northern Ireland Employment Relations Committee.
