What next for the BDA Trade Union 2024?
This Heart Unions Week we’ve been focussed on getting organised and getting organised for a purpose. That purpose is to ensure the welfare of those who work in dietetics. Ultimately the BDA Trade Union is its membership. Over the coming months we're looking at new ways to engage and support both our reps and our members.
Workers in the health service and beyond have been sorely tested over the recent years and we know that they need their union by their side to help them through the difficult times. The BDA Trade Union will always be there for its members. We are looking at ways to increase the support for out reps and ensure that BDA members get the best possible representation in the workplace.
We are actively recruiting reps and members from across the dietetic profession but our ambition is not to do so just for its own sake. We do this in order to strengthen our ability to make a real and lasting material difference to the lives of our members.
As ever our Organising Officer is at your disposal for site visits and to attend team meetings (virtually if required) to answer queries related to the BDA. Get in touch to request a BDA TU Officer to attend your team meeting or if you just want to discuss ways to raise the profile of the BDA Trade Union.
A union is for life, not just Heart Unions Week.
