Susan Dawe
I am a registered dietitian, with a keen interest in food and how it affects health and wellbeing. I want to share my knowledge to help people make well-informed food choices.
I have 10 years' experience working in the NHS providing nutrition advice for people with chronic kidney disease and those who are receiving dialysis. I now work in the Nutrition Support Team, providing parenteral nutrition for individuals with intestinal failure. I also have wide experience in the nutritional aspects of many other health conditions. My particular areas of interest include diabetes, heart disease, nutrition support, gastro-intestinal disturbances, and general gut health. I can also suggest recipe modifications to promote good health.
My aim is to provide up-to-date, evidence-based dietary advice tailored to individuals. I know from experience that the most powerful and effective advice is that which is practical and fits with an individual’s lifestyle.
