I am a very experienced Registered Dietitian and have practised for approximately 20 years working in a variety of settings.
I am passionate about working with clients to help them achieve their dietary and lifestyle goals by providing the latest professional expert scientific evidence-based nutrition and lifestyle advice.
I help clients to be empowered to manage their medical conditions as best as possible and to optimise their health. I work in a holistic way and take into account the whole person by putting the client's needs first and aiming to listen, provide support and understanding with a non-judgemental approach.
My main areas of interest and experience are: weight management, chronic health conditions (i.e. diabetes, PCOS, Heart health, metabolic syndrome, high cholesterol and blood pressure), Irritable Bowel Syndrome & gut health, menopause, mindful eating and creating a healthy relationship with food (for those who have disordered eating or emotional eating).
I have completed further training and courses to enhance helping people to change and increase their chances of successfully managing their health condition (behaviour change training and cognitive behaviour therapy). I ensure I am always up to date with the latest evidence in my specialist areas.
