Dorottya is an experienced dietitian specialising in eating disorders and complex weight management. She has considerable clinical experience in working with children and adolescents as well as adults in both these fields and is well suited to provide expertise in supporting clients with multiple physical and mental health complexities. Dorottya’s practice aims to create a therapeutic environment and is informed by psychological approaches for sustained behaviour change. She is passionate about empowering her clients to implement realistic and sustainable changes that make a lasting difference for long term well-being.

She currently holds the position of clinical and service lead in a complex weight management service in the NHS with her experience in the public sector totalling 13 years in a variety of inpatient and community settings. Dorottya is a guest lecturer at University College London on the Eating Disorders PG Pip course and has been involved in nationwide training and mentoring to eating disorder services on the nutritional aspect of care. She has written material for group based public health and specialist education sessions and has worked in the corporate sector on health promotion projects.

Dorottya has published the abstract of the outcomes of a children’s weight management programme in the Journal of Nutrition and Dietetics and has contributed to the Clinical Guidelines for Dietitians Treating Young People with Anorexia Nervosa: a Family Based Therapy Approach.
