Dedicated to implementing the MCA in practice, addressing diagnostic overshadowing, taking a relationship and person-centred approach and enacting reasonable adjustments to deliver effective dietetic care and improve health outcomes.

Founder & Chair of the British Dietetic Associations (BDA) Learning Disabilities (LD) Subgroup; Education Officer for Learning Disabilities with the BDA Mental Health Specialist Group; BDA representative on the LD Professional Senate.

A demonstrated history of developing and delivering nutritional curriculum, education and webinars for a range of professional bodies including the Royal Society of Medicine, Royal College of Physicians, Royal College of Psychiatry, British Dietetic Association, Care Quality Commission (CQC), Health Education England, MyNutriWeb, Edgehill, Cumbria and Winchester Universities.
