The BDA Maternal and Fertility Nutrition Specialist Group are proud to introduce you to their virtual 10 week group teaching programme, taught by our team of expert prenatal dietitians from a range of clinical and academic backgrounds. The sessions will be delivered as a mix of recorded talks, live welcome session and live discussion session, the live sessions will be via MS Teams, and will provide you with plenty of opportunity to ask questions.
Course dates
- Live Welcome Session - 10 January
- Each session will be released to watch at 2pm on 17 January; 24 January; 31 January and 7 February. The recording will be available so you have the flexibility to catch up in your own time. Presentation slides/notes, supporting resources and key references will also be made available. There will be a forum to pose your questions to the teaching group and there will also be a reflection sheet after each session.
- Live discussion session on 28 February.
Following course completion you will receive a digital certificate. Access to all materials will be for 4 months after the final session.

- Nutrient and supplement considerations
- Weight management in pregnancy
- Physical activity & exercise in pregnancy
- Pregnancy post-bariatric surgery
- Diabetes in pregnancy
- Designing a maternal weight management service
- Developing a pregnancy management plan
- Case studies discussion
- Panel discussion
