The webinar will provide an overview of what enhanced practice is, where it fits into the BDA career framework and how it aligns with the BDA strategy.
Enhanced practice is a level of practice, beyond the entry level, that already exists in our workforce. It is developed through post registration education, experience and dietetic training encompassing the four pillars of practice.
Historically, this may have been achieved in a non-structured way, leading to variation in practice, retention issues and a workforce that is not being utilised to its full potential. Structured education throughout a career is essential for upskilling and to retain the workforce. Within the NHS in England, this can be achieved through accessing an enhanced practice apprenticeship. Join the webinars to find out more about the apprenticeship and how it aligns to the BDA Strategy.
Open to Universities, registered dietitians and dietetic leads.
