Michelle graduated in 1998 following a Food and Nutrition degree, she worked in London at MAFF (formerly the Ministry of Fisheries and Food – now the FSA). However, she wanted to follow her passion for helping young people to improve their nutrition, so she started her health promotion/improvement career in 2000 at City & Hackney PCT as a Health Promotion Advisor (Young People and CVD) where she was the lead in the pilot for the School Fruit Scheme. Michelle has since worked for other Trusts in Health Improvement with young people and families around fussy eating, cooking healthy on a budget and healthy lifestyles before settling in my current role which combines both clinical and preventative work.
