The course will include networking opportunities, collaboration exercises, workshops, and lectures and provide attendees with all the information they would need to work within the food service sector

The Independent Review of Hospital Food, published by DHSC in October 2020, recommended that ‘there is a named food service dietitian in every Trust responsible for overseeing patient, staff and visitor catering, with appropriate funding to support this role outside of clinical duties.’ This recommendation has been strengthened by the new National Healthcare Food and Drink Standards 2022 which has now made it mandatory for NHS Trusts to have a food service dietitian. This course will be a must-have to support the knowledge and skills for these specialist dietitians.
