The General and Education Trust (GET) Fund is a charity that makes available grants that ‘advance the science and practice of dietetics’.
We are seeking a new Trustee to expand the skills and expertise within the Trustee body.
The Trustees would like to hear from a registered dietitian with substantial expertise in research relevant to dietetics, experience of research leadership and securing research funding as well as a good understanding of the application of research outcomes to professional practice. Preference will be given to dietitians who are members of The British Dietetic Association.
The trustee body reviews grant requests four times per year and manages its investments to ensure that sufficient funds are available to support successful grants. The Trustees meet four times a year: twice face-to-face in Birmingham and twice by teleconference.
All appointments are for a four year period. A maximum of three terms of office may be filled. Further information about GET can be found by visiting here.
Applications should include a CV and be sent by email to [email protected]
