The Roll of Honour recognises and rewards many of our members who have contributed to a defined piece of work or activity in the past year. Nominees should have made a significant contribution to the piece of work such as taken leadership for the task or given considerable personal time and effort to the outcome. Nominees should have provided services beyond that which would be expected of standard member contributions to committees/working groups etc.
In addition, nominees would not normally fulfil the criteria for another BDA Honour such as an Ibex or Fellowship which are given for contributions over many years of practice.
To nominate someone please email [email protected] with details of who you wish to nominate and why. Nominations are dealt with throughout the year and can be awarded by the BDA Board of Directors at any time. The names of those who have been added to the Roll of Honour are displayed at the BDA Awards Dinner each year.
The BDA Board of Directors will make the final decision on conferring the Roll of Honour. The discussions will be confidential and no further correspondence will be entered into. Successful nominees will be informed, following which notice will appear in Dietetics Today.
